GOAT

I just got back from the Poconos where I was lucky enough to work on the feature film "Goat" starring Armond Assante, Vincent Pastore and Ice T. We shot at a gorgeous casino called Mt. Airy Lodge. This was a totally top notch production, helmed by director Paul Borghese. I played an 80's party girl with a sassy mouth. It was so much fun!!!!!

Premiere for THREE BILLION AND COUNTING

Lucky for me, Deborah Gibson and I share the same loser PR guy,  I got to attend the premiere of Three Billion And Counting the documentary that her husband, Dr. Rutledge made about DDT and his finding surrounding the world wide ban put on it. This film was SO interesting and mind blowing. If you get a chance to see it, SEE IT! Then afterwards we had a shoe-off: Louboutin vs. Badgley Mischka.

Me and Deborah.
I think louboutin wins, but I'm partial to leopard

On top of it all, I get to be a bad-ass black-belt!

My character in The Great Fight is a prosecutor (holla Law & Order....I'm available!) which is a very cool departure for me. But I'm also a black belt! Here I am pictures with my fellow "black belts". To find out what other great cast members The Great Fight has in it, go to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1703147/
Getting ready for our big scene at the Karate school
Here we are with director Sherri Kauk, Producer Kenneth Del Vecchio, and stunt co-ordinator and lead actor Frank Giglio

"The Great Fight" just keeps getting better and better!

Today I got to work with Tonye Patano. Weeds is one of my FAVORITE shows and she played 'Heylia James' for 3 seasons, so it was so cool to work with her. She is a super talented lady with the most amazing spirit. I'd  getting stuck in holding for hours with her ANYTIME!! She is an inspiration!!
Here we are after the 12th hour, still working it!

Best hug of the day!

Charles Durning (& ME!)

And on the third day God gave me Charlie Durning!!! It was beyond AWESOME to work with the legend, the Emmy Award Winner, Oscar nominee, SAG Lifetime Achievement winner, Golden Globe winner, and recipient of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (not to mention his purple hearts!). This was my second time woking with Charles and my third film with him, and let me tell you, it never gets less exciting!! He's so charismatic and talented. I didn't want the day to end! I'm having SO MUCH FUN working on  The Great Fight ! I love my job.

ROBERT LOGGIA (& me)

I just completed my first day of shooting on The Great Fight  and I got to act opposite the legend himself, Robert Loggia. It was an amazing experience working so closely with him. I learned more from that day then I have in the last ten acting classes I took! Watching him on the monitors was like watching magic. Thanks to Ken DelVecchio for believing in me and casting me in a role as a lawyer (and a blackbelt), a great departure and challenge for me. I LOVE my job!!!!

New York Underground Comedy Festival

I had the pleasure of hosting the NYUCF Pajama Party at Bleecker Street Theater! This is such a fun night when all the comics and audience wear pajamas to the show! There were a ton of amazing comics there including Lori Sommers, Jessemae Peluso, Yonah Ward Grossman, and many more! This was my second year as part of the NYUCF.

BIG MOVIE NEWS!

I just landed a role OPPOSITE ROBERT LOGGIA!! Yes, the Robert Loggia! Academy Award winner! I'm going to be playing a lawyer, who is also a black belt, in the film The Great Fight. I am required to learn MMA for the role and have been getting my but kicked every week at the Tiger Schulman Headquarters in NJ. I'm so excited!! We start shooting in september. Stay tuned to hear about all the other exciting actors that are coming on board. thats all I can tell you for now ;)

AN AFFIRMATIVE ACT

Renaissance man Ken Del Vecchio, who has blessed me with numerous roles in his movies, wrote the role of Christy DeMine in his latest success “An Affirmative Act”. This is a very relevant and powerful film dealing with the issues of gay marriage. I was honored to play alongside some great actors like Charles Durning, Costas Mandolar, Robert Clohessy and Blanch Baker. Here’s some BTS pictures from set.

Here I am with Robert Clohessy, who was supposed to play my husband, but booked Empire Boardwalk, so he played a different role :( And Tom G. Waits. And below is Blanch Baker (16 Candles, Emmy Award Winner), Jakie Martling, and Justin Deas. We're hamming it up with executive producer Kenneth DelVecchio.

THE HOBOKEN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

This year I had THREE films screening at the festival! An Affirmative Act (with Costas Mandolar and Charles Durning), Fake (with Robert Loggia and Gabriel Mann), and an encore of O.B.A.M Nude. I also presented the award for the ‘Best Pilot” at the closing ceremonies. The entire week was a star filled event, which culminated with Robert Loggia receiving the lifetime achievement award. The festival is run by Kenneth DelVecchio: film maker, business man, author, judge, lawyer....the list goes on. He really knows how to throw a festival! People came from all over the world (even as far as Australia)

IT GETS BETTER WITH AGE

No, not me!! My favorite pin-up illustrator just came out with his own book “The Art of Adrian Velez: Age of Delights” and  yup, I’M IN IT!! Here’s the site where it’s available: http://www.sqpinc.com/product178.html

THE PHILHALLMONIC SOCIETY PRESENTS "LOVE IS IN THE AIR"

I was asked to join 17 other super duper talented women to sing for a cause! Phil Hall who’s bio includes coaching/conducting everyone from Angela Landsbury to Terrie Hatcher and conducting the national tour of Cats, started this non-for-profit organization to be lent out to all kinds of charities to help them raise money thru our concerts. We’ve already played a bunch of shows and raised oodles of money. It’s been so amazing to work with the choreographers and singers and stylists! We have 3 shows this October at the Traid in conjunction with the Cabaret Convention in NYC. Here’s a clip from our valentines day show. Below is a picture of me with Phil Hall and performing our valentine's day show.

New York Lottery - Welcome Back to Fabulous Las Vegas

I booked a commercial for NY Lotto that has been playing like crazy! Even during American Idol! That’s the closest I’ll ever get to being on that show ;) We took over the casino in Yonkers and made our own east coast Vegas there. I played a tacky trophy wife to a Texan oil man. It was very funny!

SCREEN SIRENS CABARET

My partner-in-crime, Erika Smith and I wrote, produced, and starred in a sold out cabaret show at NYC’s famed club Don’t Tell Mama.  All the songs were from movie soundtracks and we let the audience in on the behind-the- scenes life of a B Movie actress. It was bawdy, busty and ballsy! Our Musical director was legendary Broadway talent Phil Hall.

And I just came out in The Book of Big Butts alongside Pamela Anderson, Betty Paige, Coco and more legends! Thanks to Mike James for making me look so cool! www.jamesart.com. He is definitely one of the most talented photographers I've ever worked with! www.richardgladys.com

R.A. THE RUGGEDMAN

I was so happy to get the call from R.A. that he wanted me to be in his latest video! I played a, yup you guessed it, a CALL GIRL!! LOL We rode around Brooklyn all day in a retro limo vamping it up for the film crew then beating up R.A. in the street. HYSTERICAL!
